Who We Are

    • Acupuncture--A method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and improve function based on the belief that good health depends on the entire body being in balance.

    • Chinese Herbology--The Chinese diagnostic approach to herbal therapy is not allopathic (i.e. taking ginseng for energy) but is a more specific way of balancing the body by tonifying deficits, reducing excesses, cooling heat and warming cold conditions.

    • Cranial Osteopathy--Just as the heart beats and the lungs breathe with a rhythm, so does the central nervous system. This rhythm is present in all tissues of the body, every cell of the body, and bones of the cranium. How the body functions is influenced by this motion. Osteopathic physicians use their hands to connect and assess motions of the body and structural dynamics. This technique is a subtly powerful way to address restrictions, initiate therapeutic responses and find health.

    • Clinical Massage--A massage that can address injuries or conditions

    • Physiatry ---also known as Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM & R) promotes better physical health and healing. Physiatry practices include physical therapies, medications, and other non-invasive methods. This rehabilitation medicine works to strengthen and restore range of motion.

    • Physical Therapy--Exercise and physical activity that builds strength and stimulates movement. Physical therapy can improve physical ability while reducing pain

    • Polarity Therapy-- combines bodywork, nutrition, stretching postures and attitudinal counseling.

    • Reiki--A relaxation therapy for stress reduction and healing. Energy is channeled through and around the body, creating a feeling of peace and well being. A practitioner’s hands move gently on or above the client in a series of placements from the head to the feet. No massaging takes place and the client is fully clothed.

    • Spiritual Counseling -- Holy listening sessions can encourage you to: Speak your story. Design faith practices. Create home rituals for self and family. Learn new ways to pray. Imagine your faith in action. Heal fractures of faith from previous involvement in organized religion. Engage in grief work and healing. Practice prayer and medication. Work through life events that challenge your belief and faith system.
